AMS Group’s Distribution line of business, via Allied Defense Industries, has been awarded a $28M long-term contract by Lockheed Martin for the supply of critical components for the F-35/Joint Strike Fighter. This agreement ensures the continued availability of pneumatic components on Suspension & Release Equipment Systems supporting OEM Lockheed Martin and global-end users for both new production aircraft and the existing international fleet. This agreement demonstrates AMS Group’s commitment to this significant defense program and has a five-year period of performance.
The Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II is an American family of single-seat, single-engine, all-weather stealth multirole aircraft, performing both tactical dominance and strike missions. The F-35 Program has produced 960+ aircrafts, delivering jets to 3 U.S. service branches and 13 international allies across 39 bases worldwide. This next-generation fighter jet has a total planned fleet size of 2500+ and is projected to be in service through 2070.
