The Northern Defense Industries (NDI) Program Administrator’s primary responsibility is to support the Program Management Office in executing all phases of program management. The Program Administrator will also perform many other tasks as required for the NDI business unit. This position reports to the NDI VP of Programs, and collaborates daily with other NDI teammates, including field service technicians/engineers, the program management team, and all other NDI teammates.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
NDI “super user” for the Microsoft Business Central ERP
Pursuit of new NDI business
- Research multiple government sites for solicitations and opportunities
- Generate spares, repairs, service quotes from solicitations / Requests for Quote (RFQ)
- Respond to requests for market research and parts data
Program Management support, post-award
- Review NDI proposals
- Create sales orders and invoices in the NDI’s accounting system of record
- Create purchase orders and receipt of goods in NDI’s accounting system
- Manage teammates’ (field team) tools/equipment shipment/delivery
- Assist with tracking teammates’ expenses and timekeeping management
- Keep track of the status of orders, with an emphasis on service jobs
- Work with German suppliers / third-party logistics providers for on-time order deliveries
- Ensure equipment receipt through NDI’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool
- Maintain customer folder with quotes, Purchase Order (PO), acknowledgement, shipping documents, invoices
- Submit and track duty-free entry (DFE) requests for international shipments
- Communicate with customers and suppliers on PO’s, invoices, timely deliveries; provide repair evaluations for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) contracts
- Track full order life-cycle management and provide status updates to Program Manager
Set-Up and manage delivery of equipment
- Manage shipping portals, including Defense Logistics Agency’s (DLA) vendor shipment module (VSM)
- Manage and arrange US and international shipments
- Manage Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) portal for submission of Government invoices
- Invoice customers via Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC) ERP, submit invoices in PIEE, and Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) and other supplier portals
Enter all new orders into ERP tool
- Update and maintain all existing orders
- Ensure data is displayed correctly to filter into the Power BI and forecast reports
- Run accounts receivable report for all customers and ensure no late payments
Support NDI Quality program and ISO90001 and AS9100 audits and certification
- Complete supplier assessment questionnaire on all new suppliers
- Manage NDI Quality folder
- Manage NDI approved vendor register (and register new vendors)
- Perform visual compliance check on all new customers and suppliers
Office Management
- Maintain and replenish general office supplies
- Coordinate facilities maintenance operations
Concur software tool management
- Laise between NDI and Accounting for timely submission of monthly expense reports and per diem
- Approve all NDI invoices through Concur
- Book airline, lodging, rental car through Concur, as needed for NDI staff and guest
- Facilitate last minute changes with booking agents while NDI staff is on travel

- Create products in Microsoft Excel and Adobe in support of program need

Accounting Revenue Manager
Position Overview:
The Accounting Revenue Manager will be responsible for accurate financial reporting, effective cost management, and adherence to accounting standards. Data Engineer II
We are seeking a talented, self-motivated Data Engineer with expertise in SQL, data warehousing, data lakes, automation, and analytic tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing scalable data pipelines that extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into our data warehouse, supporting international logistics operations. This role requires solid fundamentals in application development, scripting, and general automation skills to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality information delivery. Principal Program Analyst

Northern Defense Industries, LLC. (NDI), an AMS Group company, is a small business leader offering full-spectrum integrated security solutions for critical infrastructure, maritime & coastal, and transportation applications. NDI specializes in the design, integration, testing, and installation of air, land, sea and subsea surveillance and interdiction systems. Additionally, NDI offers through-life system support and maintenance, including remote and onsite technical assistance, troubleshooting, and training. The Principal Program Analyst provides complex master schedule, cost management, and program controls to their assigned projects. This role assists Program Managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams in achieving success for existing and future programs, and reports to the Senior Manager, Program Finance.

Deputy Program Manager
The Northern Defense Industries (NDI) Deputy Program Manager (DPM) is responsible for the management, performance, and completion of single or multiple domestic/international programs that require the development (hardware and software), manufacture, and test of electronic and electro-mechanical systems. The DPM leads a cross-functional team of engineers and technicians daily, ensuring that contractual obligations are met within the assigned budget and schedule. The DPM serves as the primary contact with customers on assigned programs with a total value of $500K – $5M. The assignment will generally be to higher-risk, higher-value programs with responsibility at the total system level. This position will typically work under limited supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority. This position requires significant domestic and international travel, often with little advanced notice (up to 50%). The DPM reports to the Vice President of Programs and works full-time at NDI’s Kent Island, MD facility.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Systems Engineer
Currently Remote- San Diego, CA
As a System Engineer within the NDI team, you will be responsible for the design, procurement, configuration, deployment, testing, and troubleshooting of air, land, sea and subsea surveillance and interdiction systems. The position requires the ability to have hands on skills with network racking and stacking; various cabling work for network, power, and connectivity; network and firewall design and configuration; and systems design and integration work with command-and-control software packages. These systems integrate surveillance technologies such as radars, cameras, AIS, sonars, networking/communications hardware, and operational systems/centers. This job requires both CONUS and OCONUS travel for the installation of these systems. This position typically works under general supervision and direction of the Director of Engineering and will be expected to support a broad range of NDI programs and work closely with various engineering disciplines and field service engineers.

Functional Responsibilities:
- Perform registration of subsidiary companies with prime contractors and/or suppliers to include the portal registration process.
- Administer assigned proposals and contracts to include customer interface, customer and/or subcontractor negotiations, and contract interpretation to ensure compliance with proposal and/or contract terms.
- Draft correspondence to Contract Officers and Contract Specialists regarding contractual issues for review and approval before release.
