ALEXANDRIA, VA – February 9th, 2023 – Aero International, an AMS Group company, has won a Long-Term Contract (LTC) from the United States Air Force. This contract supports the repair of T-38 Landing Lights. The contract has up to a ten-year period of performance with a $8.2M ceiling.
The landing light is mounted on the T-38 training aircraft and illuminates the terrain and runway ahead during takeoff and landing. The T-38 Talon is a two-seat, twin-jet supersonic trainer. These aircrafts have been in service for over 60 years with the United States Air Force, in addition to being operated by the United States Navy and NASA as a training aircraft.
