Following the successful delivery of the first NDI California Coastal Surveillance, Remote Surveillance System-Maritime (RSS-M) to the Department of Homeland Security / Customs and Border Protection, the Federal Aviation Administration awarded NDI a contract modification for a second unit. The RSS-M system provides mobile surveillance, incorporating a solid state radar, long range OE/IR cameras, AIS and SATCOM communication.
