Alexandria, VA –
We are pleased to announce that AMS Group, Inc. (AMS) has successfully completed its Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Joint Surveillance Voluntary Assessment, a program overseen by the Defense Industrial Base Cybersecurity Assessment Center (DIBCAC), in December of 2024. AMS received a perfect High On-Site Assessment score of 110 in the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS), which means the Company passed all 320 assessment criteria across the 110 controls. This result ensures that AMS has a top ranking by DCMA, and that we will be one of the first companies to achieve CMMC 2.0 Level 2 Compliance from the U.S. Department of Defense. Cybersecurity is paramount as part of AMS’s commitment to supporting our government and defense market customers. This achievement was part of a multiyear technology strategy to enhance our solutions so that we could centrally manage and meet all required controls across each of our locations, cage codes, and divisions:
- Dba AMS Engineered Solutions (Aero International, LLC and AMS System Technology Company, LLC)
- Dba AMS Distribution (Allied Defense Industries, LLC)
- and Northern Defense Industries (NDI).
Jerry Kelly, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer of AMS commented, “A perfect score is very challenging for small businesses to achieve and this result puts AMS ahead of the curve in contract bidding. This achievement demonstrates to the U.S. Department of Defense, our commercial customers, and our partner organizations that AMS has a robust cybersecurity posture and is committed to the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and our customer and partner data.”
CMMC 2.0, a U.S. Department of Defense program, aims to enhance cybersecurity across the defense industrial base by ensuring contractors and subcontractors implement robust security measures, aligning with NIST standards, and protecting sensitive, unclassified information.
