TORRANCE, Calif. — [April 20th, 2026] — AMS Group has announced a major expansion of its Torrance, California facility, more than doubling its manufacturing and office footprint and establishing a fully integrated engineering and manufacturing hub.
This expansion marks a significant milestone in AMS Group’s long-term growth strategy and strengthens its ability to deliver high-quality, responsive solutions to its global customer base.
By increasing in-house production capacity and consolidating key capabilities under one roof, the expanded facility will enable greater operational efficiency, improved quality control, and accelerated turnaround times for customers across the defense and aerospace sectors.
“This expansion of our Torrance facility represents a pivotal step forward for AMS,” said Ian Haley, Chief Executive Officer of AMS Group. “By bringing engineering and manufacturing closer together, we’re creating a more agile, responsive organization that can move with speed, maintain the highest standards of quality, and support increasingly complex mission requirements. This investment reflects our confidence in where we’re going and our commitment to building a resilient, future-ready AMS.”
The Torrance site will serve as a flagship location for AMS Group, supporting manufacturing, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), and integrated systems development. The expanded space is designed to accommodate future growth, the adoption of new technologies, and evolving customer requirements.
AMS Group plans to formally celebrate the expansion with a grand opening event later this year, including a ribbon-cutting ceremony and facility tours for partners and stakeholders.
